Bacteria are very large group of microorganisms comprising one of the three domains of living organisms. They are prokaryotic, unicellular, and either free-living in soil, water, or they're parasites of plants or animals. Chryseobacterium can be found close to glaciers. This makes this bacteria exclusive to Glacier National Park.
Amoeba proteus/ Amoeba
These Eukaryotic one-celled living organisms distinct from multicellular plants and animals: protozoa, slime molds, and eukaryotic algae. Most protists live in water, like lakes or ponds. There are many lakes in Glacier Park; therefore, this makes Amoebas a commonly found protist in the park.
Amanita muscaria/Flying Amanita
This is found in woodlands, or beside isolated trees. Part of the mushroom genus. This fungi being here shows how much there is to see in Glacier Park. There are forests, not just bare, snowy mountains.
